A&E’s Kirstie Alley Digital and Out of Home Campaign

Objective: Use a multi channel campaign to generate buzz and raise awareness among a fashion-forward, female audience, 25-54, surrounding the launch of Kirstie Alley’s “Big Life“.
Strategy: Leading up to the launch of Big Life show, A&E and Gloss ran the pilot episode all on Gloss televisions. It broadcasted unique signage and multiple experiential components such as custom-colored Kirstie Alley Essie nail polish, Branded salon staff aprons, and counter displays. The multi asset approach using both a digital extension and experiential was used to increase awareness effectively for the A&E network Kirstie Alley show.
Results: Advance promotion resulted in lines outside before the salons even opened. The Gloss digital campaign reached thousands of women, and many received free manicures over the course of the campaign. The program was picked up on multiple fashion blogs and social media sites.
